The International Scientific and Practical Conference

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Constitutional Readings: The Constitutional Concept of the Social Rule-of-Law State in Post-Soviet Countries: Problems of Theory and Practice” was held in the picturesque village of Chok-Tal at the recreation facility of the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was dedicated to Lawyer’s Day in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The primary objective of the conference was to unite scholars, practitioners, and experts to discuss pressing issues of constitutional development within the post-Soviet space. The participants focused on analyzing both the theoretical foundations and the practical aspects of building a social rule-of-law state.

The conference was organized by:

• The Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic
• The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Jusup Abdrakhmanov
• The International University of the Kyrgyz Republic
• The Law Institute of the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn
• The Association “Lawyers of Kyrgyzstan”
• The Representative Office of the IPCHAIN Association in the Kyrgyz Republic
• The Association of Schools of Social Work of Kyrgyzstan
• Osh State University

The conference program included plenary sessions, thematic panels, and discussion forums that fostered dynamic exchange of experience among representatives of the academic and legal communities of the CIS countries.

The event provided a significant platform for professional dialogue and contributed to the further development of constitutional ideas and the strengthening of legal institutions in the post-Soviet space.
