ESG Education in Focus: Academy Explores Opportunities for Launching a New Master’s Program

As part of the Erasmus+ ESGCA project implementation, a presentation was held at the meeting of the Academic Council of the Zhusup Abdrakhmanov Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to the introduction of a new Master’s degree program in ESG.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Raushan Seitkasymova, Head of the Master’s Program, who outlined the program’s concept and emphasized the growing importance of training specialists in ESG in the context of global challenges and ongoing economic transformation. Particular attention was given to aligning the program with international standards and integrating advanced international best practices.

During the Academic Council meeting, a presentation was also delivered on the outcomes of a study visit to Tajik National University, including participation in a Training of Trainers (ToT) program. As part of this training, project participants explored modern teaching methodologies in ESG as well as approaches to teaching risk management, which will contribute to enhancing the quality of the new Master’s program implementation.

Following the discussion, members of the Academic Council highlighted the relevance and timeliness of launching the ESG Master’s program, noting its strong potential to prepare highly sought-after specialists of a new generation.

The event marked an important milestone in the implementation of the Erasmus+ ESGCA project and reaffirms the Academy’s strategic commitment to developing innovative educational programs, strengthening international cooperation, and improving the quality of higher education.
